What is an FBA?
An FBA is a Functional Behavior Assessment that can be done for IEP and non-IEP students. It is a process of a team collecting data to ascertain the function behind a student's behavior. The process may or may not result in a BIP.
What is a BIP?
A BIP is a Behavior Intervention Plan. It is a plan that the team develops using the observations from the FBA to create a concrete plan to manage a student's behavior and provide supports to help the student ultimately eliminate the behavior.
Please follow the process outlined below and use the forms as needed.
For questions about FBAs and BIPs or support, please contact your CFN 107 Behavior Support Team (BST): Betty Feibusch, Isley Germaine, Caroll Klapuri, or Abby Miller.
