CFN 107 has more than 45 Assistant Principals across the Network. AP Forums, held several times a year, are an important time for APs to network with their colleagues and share promising practices. At CFN 107, we focus on the Citywide Expectations and supporting APs to achieve these goals. Below you will find some of the resources from our meetings. Feel free to email with any questions.

Session One: Teacher Effectiveness
Session Two: Gap Analysis of a Common Core Performance Task
During this workshop, we analyzed a tenth grade ELA CCLS argument essay performance task and resulting student work. We used a protocol to make observations, surface current student thinking,and then identify the gaps and the implications for teacher planning and preparation. This type of gap analysis is a best practice for the teacher teams in your schools to do throughout the year. Here is the graphic organizer with guiding questions that we used. We also offered three resources to address the identified gap in student learning. Download below:
