Initial Planning Conference (Observation Options 1 & 2 Selection)
Before teachers may be observed there must be an initial meeting between administration and the teacher. At this meeting the teacher must choose one of the two observation options. All of these meetings must take place between September 3rd and October 25th, 2013. Below are two resources you may download here or go to the Advance MoTP website to download (you will need to log in.

Observation Reports & Record Keeping
The NYC DOE has released two forms that must be used for observation reports. You may and SHOULD attach feedback to the teachers to this form. Both forms must be signed by the teacher and put into the teacher's permanent file. We expect more detailed guidance soon. We will have Ivan Mendez, Senior Legal Counsel, at our October 2013 Principals' Meeting to answer your questions. The new online version for entering observation reports is expected to be up mid-September, but you should not wait to observe teachers until it is up.
