Our Schools

Picture
Children First Network 107 is a network of empowered, autonomous schools, most of who have worked together for nearly five years. Our schools are located in four of the five boroughs in New York City. Our self-affiliated schools cover a wide range of grades, from sixth grade up through early college; some of our schools screen their students by past academic performance or artistic audition, others are community schools or transfer schools. Some of our schools are members of the New York Performance Standards Consortium, while others offer their students Advanced Regents Diplomas with Honors. Some of our schools have been in operation for over 40 years, while others are in their fledgling years. Our largest schools serve over 1000 students while our smallest have populations of less than 200.

Regardless of the "type" of school, all our schools are dynamic learning communities that have unique ways of achieving academic success for their students. The "uniqueness" of our schools is the unifying factor of our network. While each school is its own learning community that educates students differently from the rest of New York City, as a network our schools have the opportunity to learn and grow from one another. Each one of our schools is dedicated to and passionate about educating New York City’s children.
